Chris Bebel is an accomplished lawyer with a distinguished career that spans both the public and private sectors. He holds an advanced law degree (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., and earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, graduating cum laude in the top 5% of his class. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, where he was a Williams Scholar.
Throughout his career, Chris has garnered recognition as a seasoned litigator, having tried numerous cases before juries. In recent years, he has collaborated closely with Jarom Tefteller at Tefteller Law, forming a powerful legal team. Together, they have successfully handled cases involving traumatic brain injuries from truck wrecks, dangerous workplace conditions, and other serious incidents.
Before joining the Tefteller Law Firm, Chris served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney (AUSA), where his exceptional work earned him accolades from the Director of the FBI and federal law enforcement officers. Even after leaving the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the U.S. Department of Justice retained Chris as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney to continue representing their interests.
Chris is also a published author, with his scholarly works appearing in publications from LSU, Texas Tech, and West Virginia University, among others. He has shared his expertise as a visiting law school lecturer at Baylor, the University of Houston, and Texas Tech. His legal analysis has been widely featured in major media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and USA Today. Additionally, Chris has appeared on NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, and numerous other national and international media platforms.
